This one is healthy, low carb, gluten free and banting friendly. You can decide if it’s sugar free as well ;-)
Ingredients”
- 2 ripe bananas
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ cup coconut oil
- 3T melted butter
- 2 cups flaxseed flour (can substitute with other flours such as almond/coconut flour)
- ½ T cinnamon
- ½ T nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1/4 cup xylitol/honey/sweetener of choice
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 170°C
- Place bananas, eggs, vanilla, honey, xylitol, butter and oil in a food processor/blender and blend together
- Add flour, salt, spices and bicarb
- Pour into a bread baking pan
- Sprinkle with seeds if you prefer
- Bake for +- 35 minutes
- Remove from oven and allow to cool
